The customer service is super and they are great at communicating with their clients. Even when something happens... clients hear about it right away. MBO University is so helpful. I have been a customer for over 8 years, have attended MBO and have taken their webinars and used their consulting services. All are outstanding. Would highly recommend this fabulous company. If I didn't own a business I would go work for them!

I loved this product! We only stopped using it because we had to close our business. The reports you can run are very helpful! The scheduling is amazing! I hope to be in a place that I can once again use this! The people behind Mind Body are so helpful!! Answered every question and were there every step of the way in setting it up!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dragonfly Customer service is top of the line. Only one instance when the chat line could not help me and I had to wait and call in another time.
Love the new appointment face page. One suggestion might be as the service pops up why couldn't the price be listed as well as the time?

Mindbody has wonderful customer service - which I know because I have to use it far more often than I'd like to! Consistently, functions that used to take only one or two steps to complete with our old software now take four or five with Mindbody, which wastes a great deal of time for both our staff and our clients. In addition, we aren't able to run many basic reports, such as outstanding liabilities for our converted prepaid gift cards. We also cannot create a specialized client loyalty program that could offer things such as extra points for certain services. These are just a few of the frustrations we have experienced with the software. The limited number of features that are an improvement for us over our old software do not make up for the fact that Mindbody is just too cumbersome and time-consuming to use. We switched to Mindbody because we were attracted by fact that it's a web-based software, but it hasn't lived up to our expectations in other areas. If we had it to do all over again we would not choose Mindbody.

It claims to offer accounting, but in truth it only partially does that. You can print any sort of document you might need for accounting purposes, however that information will still need to be added to a different program and the software doesn't allow for integration with any accounting software.
They offer a single practitioner program, but try to keep it secret. The sales person told me that I could add any number of 'support' staff I wanted to, as long as that person was not also a practitioner. Well, I go to add a front desk person and they tell me I am only allowed to add 1 person besides the 'owner;' however, you cannot book appointments under 'owner' or keep track of commission for an owner.
You have a choice to either allow clients to cancel their own appointments or not. However, if you decide not to allow it, the button still shows available and this causes clients to say "I canceled that appointment" or call complaining "why does it say I can cancel my appointment but then not let me do it?"
You cannot choose to require contact information such as a phone number when clients create accounts. When I was forced to move last minute, this meant my being unable to contact people who booked online without putting in a phone number (which happens to be almost 95% of the clients creating their own accounts). I worry about having to cancel last minute for emergencies and/ or severe weather conditions.
This software is still in it's infantile stages and is too pricy for all that it does not offer. You can get the same or more from the other scheduling sites (including a 'book now' button that is easy for people to find and navigate with, from your business website) for a lot less. This software is not worth it!

...because you have to refresh through each page and when you're dealing with a high volume of customers, those few seconds (and I know this is nit-picky, but Google Calendar is much faster) can add up and make for awkward waiting times when checking in or out. That said, the payment features are straight-forward but again - semi-awkward. Hope that MB can make things a little tighter/streamlined in the future, and that we can continue to become more familiar with the software here at TRS!

Mindbody is a great business tool for salons, clinic and appointment setters (if you are in USA) but lacks compatible functionality for Australian businesses to obtain the full capability of the software.
Such things that are lacking for Australian business include but not limited to:
- SMS reminders not available or not working in Australia
- Online store checkout is fixed with stating "We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover."
- Online store function does not allow Australian businesses to list shipping cost as all the postal services on offer in the set-up area are USA postal services.
- Double bookings for staff/ service providers are not possible or is not a straight forward process.
- The is no possibility to track late cancellations/no shows even though the reporting option is there
Mindbody has also proved to be very confusing to use and manage and can sometimes restrict business activity.
On a positive note, the Mindbody Online app is useful for checking appointment schedules on the go or when at home.

I was introduced to your software at an aesthetic show. This software is obviously more for gyms and training facilities. The needs of a spa are similar, yet different. For example. I can not run a clean report on what my facialist's sell in product and what services they do on the same report. It is difficult to populate reports to clearly show what the business is doing in services vs. retail.
Unfortunately, by the time I had purchased MindBody and transferred information from Elite, then got to know the program's deficiencies, we were too far into the transition.

I have been using Mindbody online for over 2 years and I have found that this product is excellent. Even when there were some very dramatic changes to the size of my business Mindbody was flexible enough to adapt to the necessary changes easily and swiftly. As a rule when I am asked by other therapists I recommend Mindbody simple for it's ease of use and cost effectiveness.
I also love using the app to make bookings on the go, no more excuses from people who say they want a massage then never book in!
My business could not survive with out this great software!

The experienced Staff at MindBody were able to thoroughly & efficiently get my software set up and operating quickly. Their training and client education/support has been very helpful as I establish & grow my spa. The support partners give ample opportunities to choose the features and benefits that best suit your business. The updates keep everything up-to-speed and working as efficiently as possibly, critical for a one person business. Thank-you, MindBody for giving me business options and solutions.
